You can contribute by volunteering as a CASA or by giving your financial support.
There are approximately 1000 children in the King County dependency system supported by FOC and CASAs. At any one time, 200 children are still waiting for a CASA.

Dependent children and the people who support them need your help. FOC funds have provided:
  • therapy for a child unable to control bodily functions after years of abuse - $1,800
  • transitional housing for a mother recently out of treatment - $400
  • an airplane ticket for a young child to visit out of state relatives prior to establishing permanent guardianship - $225.
  • therapeutic horseback riding classes for a child suffering from PTSD - $150.

You can contribute to FOC's mission with financial or personal support.

FOC depends on private donations to provide services for children. Administrative expenses are funded entirely by FOC Board Members so 100% of all received donations can go directly to the children.
